OPower
The brains of the system are in the OPower card, an exceptionally versatile hardware installed on the fan coil units. OPower is capable of one and processing a large amount of input and output data. It is equipped with a very powerful microprocessor and 3 independent MODBUS lines. It can be easily programmed and configured according to the user's requirements and based on the type of system on which the unit is installed.
OPower can measure following input values:
- Room temperature
- Water temperature
- Air outlet temperature
- Economy/occupancy contact status
- Fault status
- Window contact status.
OPower can manage the following outputs:
- Opening/closing of modulating water valves;
- Fan operation in "thermostatic" or "continuous" mode;
- Integration of a piping system with a hydraulic terminal unit;
- Control of a primary electric heater;
- Activation of the water circulation pump;
- Control of other OPower boards in slave mode.
Management of EC brushless motors (EST technology)
For controlling EC brushless motors, a special OPower card was designed.
By setting a specific voltage for each fan speed (low-medium-high), the fan can be modulated in automatic (0-10V) or manual mode.
